:After thinking about what i said about tinning wires with silver solder I'm sure a lot of people will question why silver solder. The wire used in exaust gas temperature and fire warning light circuits on jet aircraft will not take regular solder. They will tin with silver solder and then the regular solder works fine. This is special wire that changes resistance when heated. Thanks for letting me explain and I woun't hit the enter botton twice like I did last evening.
