I used a stopleak and been running it for 6 years.Occasionally it weaps due to vibration, and I add some more leakstop.Ted

Got you with my header didn't I.Actually, the old timers used to use a handful of cowdung and from what I hear it worked!

Instead I might try a handful of oatmeal. This is another shadetree mechanic remedy a little more refined than cow excrement.

I used it to some advantage on my honeycomb radiator before it got retired. As with your radiator, the vibration tended to open it up.

You know, I had pretty good luck soldering that honeycomb myself. The key to soldering is cleanliness, dryness (hard when you had it in the bathtub not 5 minutes earlier), and a good flux.I used a large soldering iron (not a torch) and a little luck.NOKORODE was the flux of choice.I went from a dozen or so large leaks to one occasional weeper.

But the honeycomb just was too thin overall to try to fix any more and I finally got sick of playing with it and found a reconditioned "A" radiator.

Wish you luck with yours,
Joe
