Larry...back to your coupe...seems like it needs some attention to the distributor...maybe the upper bushing...a better upper plate or maybe just some new points..doing a 12 volt conversion won't fix any of this...someone showed a modern point conversion that looked neat...I dislike stock points...always a problem... good luck..Joel
