Mike,use the existing hole location at the top sides inside the rain gutter for your alignment wedges.Good luck.The rumble lid can be a difficult thing to align properly.My 28 roadster lid just would not line up.I learned that someone had made a new skin from a junkyard car roof that had the curves very close but not exact.I ended up getting a repro rumble lid skin and it fits perfect.The other thing is when you have it aligned,tighten all your hinge bolts so they won't come loose and create misalignment.I found that the repro hinges did not hold tight.There is a sqhare shaped washer with serrated face to hold the hige in position.If the serrated tips are not sharp,it will shift out of alignment.Ted
