Thanks for the advice.Before I started tinkering, Belle would only do about 40 mph, was hard to start and generally labored to get going.With the renewals, she leaps off the line (realatively speaking) and tops in at about 60 (although I don't like driving that fast) (cruising at 40-45 is the ethereal experience).
I have another distributor that I've rebuilt as a spare.I think I'll switch and see if there is a perceptible difference.
