Volt meter vs Amp meter

I would like to replace my amp meter with a volt meter...does anyone know where to find a small volt meter that would be the same size as a Model A amp meter...I have looked in all the catalogs...and hot rod catalogs and all they sell are those big 2 inch meters...I really like the idea of a volt meter ...have you ever put your hand against your ampmeter while the lights are on?that is HOT ! also my ampmeter burned out on a long trip...so my battery wouldent charge...had to put a hot wire against it..kinda dangerous..thanks Joel
