books and parts for AA trucks

Hi Erik,

Welcome to the world of Big Iron.

For areas where the trucks and cars are the same (like the gas tank and instrument papnel wiring) any of the excellent books for cars can be used. I agree with Rick that the new book by Les Andrews is very thorough and with lots of pictures.

For the unique AA truck parts (like bearings, brake parts, etc.) I recommend The Model A Ford Works. Send a dollar to the owner, Tom Godish, at 3970 N. Interstate, Portland, OR 97227. He is an expert at trucks and is also very helpful if you have any questions. He also has a pretty good supply of original parts.
