'31 Slant Windshield w/o Indented Firewall

My '31 slant winshield town sedan has the regular non-indented firewall.At a meet this weekend, there was quite a bit of discussion as to this occurrence. It's my understanding that the s/w was introduced in March '31 and the indented firewall later on. So there must be other cars, like mine, that have a regular firewall.Any thoughts on the numbers of cars, like mine that were built? Thanks
