Tires For Blue Ribbon Judging

I have a '29 Town Sedan I intend to enter in blue ribbon judging this summer. The tires on my car are whitewalls and they don't match so I intend to purchase a set of matched blackwalls (I already have a buyer for the whites). I need to know if the tires you buy at the parts stores (like Brattons or Macs) are correct for judging.
