Frank, I have tried the black plastic/teflon stuff... turns the car into a ping pong ball. Especially when you are test driving the rolling chassis with nothing but a seat and a steering wheel. Oil won't stick around very long. Felt I haven't heard about yet. Nothing works fine but the best I've found is as follows; Chamfer the bottom ends of each successive leaf so that they don't continue to dig into the lower succeeding one. Sand the ridge on the top of each leaf where the unchamfered end has been digging. When assembling I use a mixture of gooeey grease mixed with STP. A line about the width of a dime down the middle of each leaf works fine. When it's clamped tight the grease will ease out and the excess can be cleaned off. Seems to work just fine....

If you don't have rrrreal good shocks don't use anything or she's a gonna bounce-_-_-_-_-.

:I am about to reassemble my front spring and I'm recieving
: conflicting information, It has been recommended that I put one of the following between the leaves oil, felt, grease, tefalone tape & absolutley nothing.
: Can anybody out there tell me what they are using and if it cuts the squeaking

: Thanks
