I find your use of an alcohol based anti-freeze to be an interesting solution to an old problem.
I'm wondering if you use any of the water pump lubricants along with this
I run an all re-pro street rod and the engine gets changed around a bit and for that reason quit using anti-freeze.
I've had pretty good luck using Prestone Super Anti-Rust.
Seems like everything is working well and not having the mess and disposal problems of anti-freeze is a decided plus for me.
I find too, that this board is very interesting.
Seems like there's always a lot to be learned and reading about past engineering practices, problems and their cures is enjoyable.
