The item you are looking for is called the Model "A" Instruction Book.You can purchase one thru Bratton's Antique Auto Parts 1-800-225-1929 or order on-line.To versions available part #A-91003-A cost $4.50 for 28-31 printed in 1928 and part #A-91003-B cost $9.65 printed in 1931 for side bowl carburetors.This will give you the basic information you are in need of.The books are reprints of the original manuals that came with Model A Fords.
P.S. Bratton's is open Monday thru Friday, but you can order online 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week.
