Hi Murray

Presume you mean a 1928 roadster?
There is a bit in one of the five "How to restore your Model A" (I think its in volume 2). The article mentions a shim made out of brass to cure this problem.
If not there its in Paul Mollers Book Vol 2

This is probably what Marco is referring to.

Hope you make it to Canberra for the Ford model A meet in April we have nearly 200 cars heading there.
I believe there is one coming in from the West from Perth across the Nullarbour then up to Canberra(Dont tell the Americans that Aussies are mad enough to drive 2000 + miles across a desert in a model A to get to a Ford A meet they may not believe you).
