First I would like to say that it is up to each owner to decide what they do with their Model A.Having said that I think that the biggest threat of 'hot rodders' is not from the young people. It is the 40-60 year old people who were around when Model As and other cars were first made into hot rods. They generally have more money than the younger people and want to get back to the good old days of their youth by building the hot rod that they could not aford as a teenager. So we should support the young people that want to get into this hobby.The number of people that were original owners of Model As is getting smaller all the time. Most of the people who own Model As were born after the Model As were built.Remember when you first got involved in Model As and wanted to learn as much as you could from the old timmers.Well pass it on.Young people also bring energy into a hobby that will help it get better.Go for it Gen X. (is that P.C.)
