I had to give up my title of Model A kid a number of years ago....I've been involved in this great hobby/lifestyle since the purcahse of my first Model A at age 11 in 1966 (I actually paid $100.00 for a complete "29 Coupe).I'mthe one who got my dad interested. He thought I was nuts buying that damned old Ford with the money I saved from my summer job.

Still, in this hobby I'm probably considered a youngster.Funny as I get older the "Old Farts" just keep getter older too!I say that lovingly as over the years they have been wonderful mentors and friends (once they get to know you).To bad so many are gone, but their Model A's live on.

The Model A is a great car as is this hobby. As long as we make these young "dudes" and "Model A wannabes" feel welcome this hobby will last a long time.

Besides, I'm kinda looking forward to playing the "grouchy old fart"!=-)
