Yesterday my '29 Coupe wouldn't start. Checked the spark. OK.
Checked the gas line.Fuel bowl filled with water and frozen solid. Dumped out the ice, cleaned it up. Away we went!
Contrast this with my 1987 Isuzu Trooper. Wouldn't start. Not even a click.Battery ok.Gas ok.Had trouble even identifying parts to the engine in amongst all the wires and tubing and mysterious black boxes.Had to hire a guy to come fix it.Loose wire on the starter.(I still don't even know WHERE the starter IS!!!)He didn't charge me for the call.
That in itself was a miracle.
But, aren't you glad for the simplicity of your Model A??I sure am!
