engine rebuilding

Well, I'm trying to rebuild my "A" engine.I have heard about using inserts in stead of babitt for the rods and mains.Seems to me they were Fort tractor.I know that"s not much to go on, but does anyone have any specifics or how to information?Also are there any blueprint specs for this engine that are readily available?
