as far as the judging standards....they do contain the current definitive info on color/interior combinations. color/interior choices are also available in other sources.
just remember if you are not going to the show, you can do pretty much what you want.(i'm more of a purist, and would rather drive a model a as they were built and not one that has been 'improved').my advice would be decide what you want the car to be early on (driver/restored/show) and do it right the first time.saving $20 on a bearing when the car is disassembled is false economy when it gives out hundreds of miles from home.this may post twice...tried it once this afternoon and it still hasn't showed up on the board this evening, if is posted twice, sorry.

: I was wondering if this group could help me
: identify a couple things.

: First:If I have the engine or frame number can I determine what type body was on the frame I have?

: My car has a two tooth sector gear in the steering box.I assume this is a 1931.I was told little about this car as I purchased this rolling chassis from a parts dealer.

: Second:I intend on turning this car into a driver.I do not have a body for it at this time. I am considering a standard roadster from Brookville.Any thoughts or ideas on going this route?

: And Last would a book on judging standards help me in choosing the color scheme for the interior, top, and body colors.

:
: Thank you in advance for all your help!

: Craig
