Ken's right.If your lock slider is broken or missing, you can get a reproduction.
You can also get a locking handle to replace the non-locking one - they're reversable - and mount it on the driver's side.On my '31 Tudor, I've learned that having the locking handle on the passenger side only works pretty well for me - it's easy to unlock the passenger door and simply reach across the interior and unlock the driver's door, then go around to the other side.
Actually, I don't lock my doors too often, especially when I use my car cover.You car is pretty save when covered up.
