: Am looking for some advice re prop nut lock washers (Snyder's part no. A-52250). Have been unable to establish if these items are supposed to be used on '28 Phaeton. Suppliers' catalogues not clear on this aspect. Judging Standards on page 9-2 make reference to Cabriolets having a special locking clip behind prop knob to keep it from loosening when folding the top. Can any one please help? Thanks in advance for any advice. : Bob McDonald ____ Bob, I probably should have written "Cabriolets only", but I expected the vendors to get the message and quit misrepresenting the use of the locking clip!No other models used them.Only one locking clip was made and it carries a Cabriolet part number. |
