Many thanks for the information - I suspected that these clips were not used on the '28 phaeton, however the suppliers' cataloguesdo not make this point clear, so thought I had better ask the question to satisfy myself.

: My previous statement is not entirely correct.First, it was also designated for use on the 180-A Deluxe Phaeton which shared the same knob.It appears that it was not introduced until mid 1930.It's introduction probably coincided with the change from the brass backed to aluminum backed version of the knob.
: This doesn't affect your '28 Phaeton, but thought I would clarify.Also note the Judging Standards will remain the same for the foreseeable future.
