: I read on page 12-9 of the standards that the windshield slide arms on all closed cars were nickel plated. I also see on page 12-6 that the 1928-30 Standard Coupe used Bright Nickel finish. Can anyone out there confirm this for me?

YES!!!What is your reason for apprehension? There was no chrome in the interior of any models except the Town Car and at the windshield area of the Convertiable Sedan and Cabriolet after early 1930.Butler nickel was only used in Deluxe models, but for some reason bright nickel was retained for the Convertible sedan.Standard Items such as the slide arms were the same for all models until they introduced the chrome version for the Cabriolet.
