Unless that front axel is bent u-shaped I would straighten it and use it.Go to a machine shop with a large hydraulic press and they will straighten the axel in no time at all.You do this in the cold condition, do not heat up the axel.Otherwise unless your looking for absolute perfection disregard the markings.
