John,
I haven't assembled or restored a pickup box so I don't remember the details of the substructure.A "T" box has to mount on a frame with parallel rails an the "A" box doesn't.Does this affect anything besides the wood in the bed?
I talked with Doc Kalinka in WI. a few days ago inquiring about the early rear lamp bracket and he said that the early bed ('til April or May)was 1/2" - 3/4" longer (towards the cab) and that the wood was not interchangable.This doesn't show up in the parts books however, which doesn't make sense.
I'm now very curious about the differences, subtle or otherwise!
