Larry,

I don't think your problem is the condensor, as we had a similar problem with a "C" engine recently. The car acted like it couln't roll over a dime, and was non-responsive at highway speed. We found that the engine needed some other type of advance on the ignition than the manual found in the model "A".These engines are supposed to run same as the model "A" but they don't.After putting on a centrifugal advance distributor our problems went away. We also thought that it was a gas mixture problem but that went away too.My friend got his distributor from a swap meet and had it rebuilt by someone in Calif, I don't know who.
