I asked my Dad this question (he was born in 1910).He said he wasn't sure of the exact years, but his Dad had a Haines, Oldsmobile, Willys-Knight, Star and a Packard in the late 20's and 30's.He said the Packard was in a higher price range, but he thought the others were comperable or at least close to Ford.
