Installing Alyernator

I just bought an alternator for my 30 Sport Coupe and the instructions seem very terse.Does anyone have any good words for me? I want to thank all of you who have been so kind to respond to my pleas for help in the last few weeks, especially for my overheating problem.I am now replacing the head gasket, which tested positive during the load test.As a new "A" owner your help has been great!
