Hi You must lubricate the bottoms of the bumbers or they will drive you crazy!I use Amorall.Any rubber dressing should do or just plain old soapy water.I hope I am not mis reading your problem but I think that is what willdo it for you.When ever you deal with rubber you gotta have some slippery stuff around. : Someone tell me the secret to installing those stupid little mushroom shaped bumpers that the rumble lid rests on. After sweating for a couple hours (no really...HOURS!) and ruining a new set of these bumpers, I decided I must just look like an idiot and ask for help. So here I am...begging, PLEASE HELP ME!
