You didn't say what year and model. For the purposes of this message I'll assume it's their all purpose tan (T-9) they substitute for the deluxe tops.It depends on the type of marks or stains. For starters, blow it clean as possible with a good air nozzle @ 85-100 psi.Next use a white gum type eraser lightly over dark marks of most types.Use a little caution as any concentrated abrasion or chemical cleaning will make spots lighter (fade) in the area being worked, keep it to a minimum.Any oily type stains may take special attention and I won't get into that unless you need it.

For general dinginess use a mild solution of ivory liquid (or equiv.) and water, with a terry cloth towel or washcloth (lightly again). The problem is, it nearly requires flushing with water to remove all detergent residue. This should not be done unless is can be put back on the car before drying as some shrinkage is likely and it needs to be to your advantage.
