I agree with the timber, jack, and chains method stated earlier, worked well for me.
I just wanted to add something - make sure that your rails are straight from the center crossmember out to the tip of the front frame horns, that is, side to side. If your car was hit from the side with much force the rail(s) can be bent in this area. The frame horns alone are commonly bent also.
