: First, where the heck can I get a copy of the restoration standards?I have searched the MAFCA web page and can't find anything, sent a message to info@mafca.com to which they never reponded (sent my membership app in a month ago, they cashed the check but haven't gotten any info yet, hope it gets better from here), and looked everywhere else I can think of.Can somebody tell me where to get them?

Gary.I've stayed out of this for a while and researched your difficulty finding a copy of the restoration standards.I went to the MAFCA home page at http://www.mafca.com.Scrolling down, I selected JUDGING - a logical place to start looking for restoration and judging standards. That took me to a discussion about the standards and a link to the MAFCA PRODUCTS page with a description of the standards and both a phone number and e-mail address of how to order them. It seems pretty straight-forward to me, even if I DID write the web site.

However, perhaps your concern was more for the difficulties with MAFCA HQ - at times, they've been a little overwhelmed with e-mails and phone calls and have admittedly 'dropped the ball' from time to time.

DJ Voyce (and others) have mentioned similar concerns, and today I've sent copies of his letter and my comments to MAFCA Headquarters c/o Emma Celmer, Executive Secretary, President Judy Hamilton, and Vice President Lyle Meek.

I know all three of those people well. They're spending a lot of their time making MAFCA a strong organization.I'm sure they're VERY CONCERNED with keeping the lines of communication between MAFCA and its members clear and open.

Thanks for adding your experience. If we don't sound off, our voices won't be heard.
