: The transmission will leak an insignificant amount of lube while driving.If you have leakage while parked then the trans is over filled.If there is noticable loss while driving then the oil baffles are either installed backwards, or missing.There were a few changes/improvements made in this area detailed in the Sept.'29 Service Bulletin.

If your transmission seems to leak more after you have been out driving for awhile, check the vent in the top of the transmission and be sure that it is not plugged. If the vent gets plugged up, the transmission will build up pressure, and leak at the u-joint The vent is located just below the shift lever, clean it out with an ice pick, or small screwdriver.
