: My '29 Tudor has a brass screen in the filler neck of the fuel tank. How is this screen held in the neck...is it threaded, pressed in, or what? And more important, how is this screen removed? Would appreciate any suggestions or recommendations.
Carl,
On a '29 it is threaded in. It should have some "slots" at the top of it. You can use a "spanner" type wrench or use a punch and lightly tap it around with a hammer. Enough to move it but not enough to bend the slots. You probably should use a brass punch to eliminate any sparks if your tank has gas in it.
