The good ones are red and reputable suppliers of Model A parts
will have them. The bad ones are greenish and really awful.
The test of a Model A parts house is their determination to
handle the best parts available. The test of the customer
is his willingness to pay a little more for the better stuff.
I've concluded that it is best to tell the cheapskates to
move on and only stock the best parts available. Others will
cater to them. Try Brattons, Mark Auto, Bill's Model A Ford,
A & L, etc. - or even me - Ford-N-More. All of us are working
with the "high end" stuff and will at least tell you if there's
a problem with a part.
