Anthony,

There is basically no price difference between 28-29 and 30-31 Model As. Unless it is a real early 28 or is unique in some other way it will be worth the same as any other unrestored Model A roadster. The condition of the car will determine it's price. The less money it would take to restore it the more it is worth. Price range ($500 for a pile of rust that has some parts that you can sell -- $10,000-$20,000 for a car that does not need any restoring (ie it looks like a car that is less than 10 years old that has been very well maintained). You can convert a roadster to a pickup. You can buy a new roadster pickup cab and/or bed. However I would NOT like to see you do that. A Model A that has been sitting for 50 years is hard to find and it might have all of the original parts. If you convert it to a pickup it will never be quite right. Besides roadsters sell for much more that pickups. If you can get a real good deal on the car you would be better off trading the roadster for a pickup. Or reselling it and buying a pickup. You can look in Hemmings Motor News to get a feel for what Model As are sell for.
