I usually don't use antifreeze.It normally just makes a mess.Instead I use about a half a can of rust preventive and drain it out when it is in danger of freezing.This only happens a couple times a year in Dallas, so no problem.
Oil levels should be at the point they run out the filler holes.I use the 600W oil because I have found that less leakes out.The 140 or 160 the thickest that is avaliable at Chief's seems to run out everywhere.The seals and brgs were designed for the thicker oil.I use the thicker stuff.
I have never seen a Model A that wasn't leaking, unless it was out of oil.
