No spark to # 1 cylinder

Just installed engine that had been sitting for three years. Runs on three cylinders.I used the distributor, rotor, plugs and wires from engine that ran 3 days ago.No spark to # 1 plug or at the distributor body where the plug wire attaches. Tried different distributor body, rotor, plugs, even the wires.Still no spark.Have adjusted timing thinking that somehow it would make a difference.Any suggestions on what to try next.Could the body have gone bad, but two of them?Thanks.
