Removing Grease Fittings

Good advice on twisting them counter-clockwise as if you were screwing them out - just in case you've forgotten which ones are press-in and which are screw in.
I had some press-in fittings that were real stubborn.I got a file and made some flat spots on opposite sides of the fittings and then got a vise-grip to clamp down on them before turning CW to get them off.It took some filing and mumbling on a couple, but eventually I won out!
