I just recently overhauled my water pump with the same kit from Brattens.Rebuild the waterpump with all flat and cup washers as you usually would.Then put on the teflon washer next to the last cup washer.Install the setscrew fitting on last.I was quite surprised when everything fit together nicely and there is just the correct amount of end play when you are completed.The fan fit on and the castle nut cleared the hole so the cotter pin would fit.
