More on the Richmond Factory

I spoke with both the Richmond and San Francisco Museums Tuesday. The San Francisco plant that produced Model T's & A's was used as a vocational school until it become a victim of the 1989 earthquake,it is no more.

The Richmond plant went into production in August of 1931, when a Roadster was the first car to roll off the assembley line. I don't know when Model A production ceased, but it did indeed make Model A's for at least a short a period of time.
The Richmond musuem confirms that the Roadter is currently on display. I will pay a visit to it next week to see both the car and pictures of the factory "as it was being built". These pictures will be posted on both the Richmond Factory and Acorn A's Club websites, I'll keep you posted.
