Some other thoughts on "no shocks". We see a LOT of broken
front leaves in springs and even more cracked and broken
front crossmembers. We are virtually certain that this is
caused by driving without shocks. Overlooking the awful way
they handle without shocks, the frame and front spring take
a terrible pounding without them. Even if there's no way to
afford rebuild/replacement of the rears, at least re-do the
fronts - the difference they make is nothing short of amazing.
If you'd ever driven a car with them, you'd know what you're
missing.
