:I recently replaced the fuel shutoff valve that screws into the bottom of the gas tank.It is a repro valve. When the valve is turned off it does not leak. However, when it is open, there seems to be a slight leak where the fuel line screws on.By slight, I mean maybe one drop will collect on the shutoff valve and drip onto the floor mat every couple of minutes.I have tightened the fitting quite tight and I am afraid of cracking it if I tighten it much more.Any suggestions as to how I might stop the leak.By the way, the fuel line as well as the glass sediment bowl are repros.

Hi Wayne..

Had the same problem. The repro gas line just doesn't seal right. My fix was to find an original gas line and the problem went away.
