Steering for 29 Tudor

I am rebuilding a 7-tooth and am having trouble with the upper bushing.It will not release (yes, I took the two screws out).Further, the repro I bought has no holes for the screws (same two) that
I have to put back in to hold it in place.
Also, I picked up a nicely rebuilt Pitman arm.It has had the post for the ball machined down and a
new ball put on - all for $42 Cdn!Any experience with these?This winter I intend to do the rest of
front end and want to know if any of you have had good luck with this type
of rebuild or if there are other ways to address the oval ball problem.
