I am replacing a faulty modern electrical switch and small armored cable on my 1929 Tudor Sedan. I know how to take everything apart and re-assemble from the books I have and the advice from my friends on the Chat and the Model A-FORD BOARD. I have an ORIGINAL working Pop-Out Switch and a NEW armored cable(purchased at Bratton's) to install into an ORIGINAL DISTRIBUTOR. My question is this: should I use electrical Ignition and battery spray(purchased at NAPA Auto Parts) at any of the electrical connections? I AM ESPECIALLY INTERESTED TO KNOW IF THIS IGNITION SPRAY SHOULD BE USED AT THE THREADED CONNECTION AT OR IN THE DISTRIBUTOR THREADED OPENING. I want to protect my system from any moisture problems. Please advise. |
