Refer to your "How to Restore Your Model A Vol. 4 Page 23-26
for the final definitive treatise on frame brackets and
measurements. 1928 and 29 frames HATE 1930 and 1931 bodies.
You CAN put a 30 body on a 28-9 frame, but the frame holes
are the least of your problems (yes, they're different). What do you propose to do
about the RAISED BOSSES for the radiator on the front cross member? Grind
them off and weld them flat? The crossmember is set up to
locate a 2" shorter radiator, so it'll jack your 30 radiator
'way up in the air ... It would be easiest to replace that
crossmember with a '30 or '31.
