Wanted: Stainless Windshield Frame

I'm looking to replace my chrome windshield frame with a stainless one but haven't found one for sale. I own an early 1931 Cabriolet and my chrome windshield frame is starting to pit from the inside out.I was told that there were stainless ones in the market place. Question? Can a have my present one replated? Ken Schmidt Model-A
