If you very carefully type in http://members.gnn.com/MMcoul/candycar.jpg, a BRIGGS body will magically appear. That's my "daily driver" - it's a Briggs standard (6 window) fordor. Pay close attention to the shape of the top of the window opening. It's the most obvious difference between Briggs and Murray. Mines flat - Murrays aren't. It's a 1929, but the two years' bodies are nearly identical and actually use almost exactly the same WOOD KIT ... (an unpleasant subject). It freezes where I live, so I have a recovery tank, antifreeze, and a bearskin rug. I've used unleaded gas in it always. Never had any problems or noted any difference in performance one to the other except that it's maybe a little "doggy" when I use lower octane ???? Maybe. Could be my imagination. I have had reason to take my cylinder head off and can see no ill effects of the unleaded lurking there. I don't think that the environment needs more lead anyway, do you?
