Rick,
As stated by others in previous postings the tops of the dor window openings on the Briggs body will be almost flat, whereas the Murray will have a pronounced arch. There may also be a body tag stating which manufacturer built it. Look on the firewall under the patten plate. My brother's town sedan has an M stamped on the brace under the dash panel.
Leaded gas ? Yet another can of worms. The arguments are

1) Model A's were built before lead was put in the gas
2) Model A's do not need high octane gas (my dad said that he ran a Model A using kerosene during WWII)
3) Some say the valves will burn if you do not use lead.
4) Others say the valves will not burn since the design and RPMs of the Model A engine are such that lead does not help.

Using leaded gas will not hurt but it may not help.

AntiFreeze ?
1) The Model A has a non-pressurized cooling system and anti-freeze works best in a pressurized system.
2) It will not do much to stop overheating.
3) It will stop you engine from freezing.
4) Since the Model A has an open system it can boil out and make a mess.
5) Use an overflow tank with anti-freeze.
6) Do not over fill the radiator.

Bottom line is if you use your car in freezing weather then you should use anti-freeze. If you store your car in the winter where it could freeze then either drain the water or put in anti-freeze for the winter. If it does not freeze where you live than just use water and an anti-rust additive.
