Alex, it would help to know what state your car is in at the present time. That is to say is it running or stacked in a corner of your garage. It would also help to know where you are located. Parts are easier to come by in Southern Cal than the outback of Australia.

Generally speaking if you have all the basic parts the remainder can be ordered through one of the various mail order houses. Snyder's, Bratton's, Mac's, etc. Snyder's and Mac's have e-mail order capabilities I don't know about Bratton's.

If the car is running you have to pre-flight and get to know the basic workings of the machine then drive it. You'll get to know each other and it will most certainly tell you what it's basic needs may be.

Obtain the books, all of which are available mail order, and bone up on your new toy and you will find it's really not that daunting a task understanding this little jewel. Most importantly, if you are able, do the work yourself. Nothing like hands on experience. The first thing I did with my first Model A was take it apart and while I don't advocate quite that radical an approach I do think doing your own work is essential to obtaining a working knowledge. Don't rush, it'll be there in the morning.... Most of all enjoy it, it's done it's job of work and now it's in it's prime and deserves a little pampering.

: A little experience has taught me that I have one hell of a lot to learn. I do know that most makes of old cars have parts that quickly become hard or impossible to get for a variety of reasons. My car is a 55b Canadian RHD Tudor built to go to New Zealand that has most of its original bits seemingly still on it,I think.I guess it will take a few months to determine exactly what is worn and needs to be replaced in what order of urgency and it will take time to sort out what should be on the car, whats missing and what's been added. Can anybody tell me what bits I should expect to have difficulty getting my hot little hands on?. Id hate to pass up the chance of a good whatsit it perfect working order due to my profound ignorance!

: I would appreciate any thoughts
