Sounds like my garage.What I did was use a cracked flywheel housing with the motor mounts to get everything together.You could even get the body back on with the motor out without causing yourself serious problems.The chassis is pretty unmanageable without the tranny in place so it's a good thing to get it together.I am using "Float-A-Motor" mounts so there's a rear tranny mount also that holds the driveshaft end up nicely.Cracked housings are pretty comon and can be had for $5-10 at swaps.
